The Mana Tower forms one of the few ways to break the Mana economy of the game. It produces Mana every now and then at fixed intervals which decrease as you upgrade the tower.

Abilities and Upgrades[]
Battle Upgrades can be improved after being placed on the battle field. Upgrading abilities during a battle costs Mana. As your tower increases in level, your abilities and upgrades can also increase in power, but at a higher Mana cost. Not all abilities change or upgrade with level.
At Level 1 Mana Tower cannot be upgraded. Bigger Bucket upgrade is available at Level 2 onward and Card Sharp upgrade is available at Level 3 onward.

Defensive Strategy[]
Though typically a poor investment on short levels due to its high cost and payoff over time, the Card Sharp upgrade's ability to speed up the cooldown time on Spells can be very helpful when employing a Spell Card heavy strategy. In addition, the effect stacks with multiple Mana Towers. When the Card Sharp upgrade is maxed out to the third tier for all three Mana Towers the cool down is sped up to 220% so that every game second, 2.2 seconds is removed from each Spell's cooldown. For example, a Spell Card with a 60 cooldown will now be reactivated in 27.3 seconds.
