Tesla Tower has low base damage but the tower strikes three times with each attack. Each of the three strikes can hit different targets. Like the Lightning Tower the attacks momentarily stop the target.

Defensive Strategy[]
The Tesla Tower is overall one of the most versatile towers in the game. To begin with, its damage upgrades are not as expensive as other towers (80 to 120 to 160 mana cost, compared to e.g. poison tower with 100 to 140 to 350 mana cost) and is capable of causing serious damage. A level 4 tower with fully upgraded damage only costs 100+80+120+160=460 mana and already deals impressive damage, with each shot in a burst of three capable of frying a bluefeather warbird whole.
Due to its limited number, use it near chokepoints where enemy paths converge or near sole exits. Its immense firepower can often hold a chokepoint without any additional help. It only becomes even better with reinforcements such as clarion call or thunder moose; both of these stall enemies for the tesla tower hit with its massively damaging attack.
Be wary about magic resistant enemies however. Despite its immense damage, it can't hold off magic resistant enemies well, especially in masses. Mask this weakness with physical damage heroes, such as Knuckle, Valorius with a full platoon of Clarion Call reinforcements, or the avatar himself.
